Moosomin First Nation Education Council is now sharing information for 2026–27 Post-Secondary Educational Assistance.

This applies to new and continuing post-secondary students who are planning to attend school during the 2026–27 academic year.

MFNEC Post Secondary is administered by Moosomin First Nation Education Council on behalf of the citizens of Moosomin First Nation. Students are encouraged to connect with the Post Secondary Coordinator early to make sure they understand the application process, eligibility, required documents, and funding timelines. 

Application Deadlines

Spring/Summer semester
For programs starting in May, June, July, or August
Deadline: March 31 each year

Fall semester
For programs starting in September, October, November, or December
Deadline: June 15 each year

Winter semester
For programs starting in January, February, March, or April
Deadline: October 1 each year

• Priority selection criteria
• Required application documents

Documents to submit by the deadline

To help avoid delays, students should make sure the following documents are submitted by the required deadline:

• Completed MFNEC application for new enrolment or continuing student
• Copy of status card
• Acceptance letter with program information, area of study, tuition, books, supplies, and program start/end dates
• Dependent children verification, if applicable
